My rescue cat has crusts on her fur. Is it a skin condition?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 6 lbs

My pet cat (who was a stray) has this weird fur problem (Im not sure if its a problem) I have done research but I still don't know what it is. I do think about taking her to a vet but due to family reason, we are unable to do so. She's not bleeding.

These could be crusts from scratching injuries from fighting with other cats. Keep observing your cats skin. If this does not stop over the next 3-4 weeks (when she is not outside and spends all her time inside) , then this may be a skin condition that will need to be examined by a veterinarian.
