Why is my spayed cat backing into corners? Could she be in pain?

My cat Pooki was spayed yesterday and I brought her home today. She was acting fine for the first few hours but a few hours later when she would start walking she would stop and back up until she was backed into a corner. Why is she doing this? And could she be in pain? Pet's info: Cat | American Shorthair | Female | spayed | 3 years and 2 months old
