Hi so my puppy had surgery n every time I put on the E collar he starts to panic the breath fast. It’s stressful

It would help to know where your puppy had surgery. If it was on the abdomen you could put a t-shirt on your puppy to keep it from licking the wound. You can also get a soft fabric collar from the pet shop which is more comfortable. You can also put the present collar on and wait until your puppy calms down and gets used to the collar. Leave it on and do not remove it for feeding, etc. Your puppy needs to wear it at all times.
