What car safety harness prevents my puppy from jumping out the window?

What are the odds my puppy will jump out the car window? He loves the fresh air and smelling around so I let him do that while grasping him firmly at the belly and having my hand on his collar. I don’t want to take this privilege away but want to find a safer way of doing it rather than keeping my hands on him the whole time. Is there a device to attach to the seatbelt and or piece of the vehicle that would ensure safety? Pet's info: Dog | Bichon Frise | Male | neutered | 5 months and 12 days old | 7.8 lbs

There are harnesses you can get for Guido that attach to a seat belt to keep him safe and prevent him from jumping out the car window. You can find them online or in a pet store. I would get one for him, and not trust that he won't jump out the car window. My own dog tried to jump out when I was going 60mph, and I managed at the last minute to stop her (she was hanging halfway out the window). She likely would have died if she had succeeded, so I don't trust her with the window open without a harness. I hope this helps!
