My cat's jaw clicks, drools, and licks lips. Is it a dental issue?

My cats jaw is clicking/moving up and down and he’s drooling a little which has a slight odour. He’s licking his lips and swallowing (as he would after finishing a meal for example). This isn’t constant, just every now and again but he’s been doing it for the past few days. He seems fine in himself and is still eating /napping as usual. Is this a dental problem? It sounds like you need to make an appointment for Sonny with the vet. Its not urgent if he is still eating and drinking and seems to be acting fine, but I would be concerned that he may have a fractured tooth or some similar oral problem. Make an appointment when you can, and it may help keep him comfortable to offer soft food rather than hard food until your vet can take a look.
