5 week old chihuahua's, suspect they have worms. All pot bellies, strain and whine when trying to bm. Purchased RFD liquid dewormer. Having a hard time figuring dosage. 1. Neither scale will give boys weight. Either too small or too big. 2. Female weighs 905 grams. RFD is 2.27mg per ml. Only dosage I can find online is 5ml per 5 lbs.

That dosage works out to 1ml per pound. The female weighs 905 grams which is 2 pounds. Ideally, you should submit a stool sample to your veterinarian to diagnose intestinal parasites. Once you know what they have, if anything, you can treat appropriately. The deworming should be repeated every 2 weeks until 12 weeks of age, then switch to a monthly heartworm/intestinal parasite preventative.
