Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Male | neutered | 2 years old

My dog is in pain when he tries to lie down. Or jump up on the sofa. He isn't limping at all. He will yelp sometimes when he turns round too. He hasn't lay down now for ages and it's getting late. I don't know what to do for him. What cam I give him?

This is very concerning, especially since Bentley is a young dog. You will need to take him to an out of hours vet or emergency veterinarian for an exam. THis vet can then also prescribe pain medication. RIng your vet , there will be emergency information on the answering machine. Unfortunately there is no over the counter pain medicine I can or am legally allowed to recommend. Your dog will need to get pain medicine from a veterinarian who has done a hands-on exam.
