Will my puppy's good personality stay permanent as he turns 6 months?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Male | neutered | 5 months and 27 days old | 115 lbs

I just was wondering since my puppy is 5 months old. When he turns 6 months will how he acts now be his permanent personality? His personality is loveable and calm yet playful and docile. He is definitely a follower more than a leader. He does whatever you do and or ask him to. I try to get him in different settings and heavily and not so heavily populated areas. He’s also quiet and kinda more on the scary side. He is perfect to me but I want him to stay this way. Any tips ?

Just keep doing what you are doing! Every dog is different, but continuing to show love and affection to Bear, getting him used to as many different situations as possible, and using behavior training will help mold him into the perfect dog for you.
