Hi I have a male cat which is 11 months old and a female cat who is 1 and half years old I kept them in a same room since they were small, so that they could mate since the female was in heat the male didn't mated with her? What could be the reason and how can I mate them?

If you are certain that Bella went into heat either one of them could have fertility issues. You should have them both examined by your veterinarian to make sure that they are in good overall health, and your vet might suggest some other tests to run. Uterine abnormalities, semen abnormalities, infections or even poor nutrition can play a role. If you did not actually see them breed it is possible that Bolt has a penile or testicular problem causing low testosterone. It’s also possible that although he is likely sexually mature that he is just not interested yet.
