Can I leave my 1-week-old orphaned puppy alone for half a day?

Hi, I am taking care of an orphaned newborn puppy. He’s 1 week old now and is doing fine. Is it okay to leave him for like half day because i have somewhere to go where i can’t take him. There’s no one i can ask to take care of him in the meantime. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 5 days old | 4.409 lbs

If he is over 7 days old, you could leave him for no more than a 6 hour period of time. He should be eating every 4 hours, but one stretch of 6 hours in a 24 hour period would be acceptable.
