Hello! My dog has a new growth on his lower eyelid near the corner. Im trying to figure out if it is some kind of cyst or tumor. He burrows a lot under pillows. Ive been keeping it clean with warm water and saline solution. I was putting a warm compress on it but i cant tell if it is working, its gotten bigger. Hes a 13 year old Beagle.

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Ghoul. Eyelid masses are common in middle age to older dogs. It can be a result of an infection such as a stye or it can be a growth out of the glands that line the eyelid. Most masses are benign. If it is enlarging, I recommend he sees his veterinarian. He may need an antibiotic ointment or surgical removal might be discussed. I hope this information helps!
