Why is my 11-week-old kitten sleeping all day, lethargic, not eating?

I just got a kitten from someone. She’s 11 weeks old and was perfectly fine when we got her. She seemed well taken care of and played, slept and ate normally for about 2 days. On day 3 she began sleeping more than normal (like 23 hrs) Now it’s day 5 of us having her and she is continuing to sleep all day, rarely moving. She isn’t eating quite as often but will eat a little 2-3 times a day and drink a little when she eats. She is very lethargic and won’t play anymore. she just sits and cries now. Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Longhair | Female | unspayed | 2 months and 19 days old | 1lb

It sounds like poor Olive is sick. Anorexia and lethargy can be signs of many illnesses such as a systemic illness, infection, inflammation, or injury. It's actually quite serious when a cat isn't eating, and I would take her into the vet as soon as possible. The vet can diagnose the cause of her symptoms, and can treat her for it. Please take her into a vet. Best of luck.
