I found a 5 to 7 month old puppy about 2 days ago and found out he has parvo, I was told to push lots of fluids because I don't have the funds for a vet. He was passing bloody stools but now he is passing yellow stools, is that a good or bad thing?

The color of the stool does not necessarily tell you if the infection is improving or worsening. Obviously if there is a lot of hemorrhage in the stool this is not a good thing. When treating parvo at home, I want to see resolution of the diarrhea, improvement with hydration and appetite returning. If none of these things occur or the infection worsens, the prognosis is not good for at home treatment and hospitalization is highly recommended. At minimum, you should at least see a veterinarian and obtain antibiotics and fluids so you can do the proper treatments at home. I hope this helps and that Leo gets better soon! Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns and I would be more than happy to help you further.
