Hello doctor,i have a Japanese Spitz male of age 6 years,he eats nothing but roti and sometimes I find him in discomfort where a small part of his abdomen is enlarged and comes to normal when we rub it.He rolls on the floor when this happens.he is eating fine and no vomtings etc.It is also happening sometimes when he poop.what maybe the reason for this.Thank you in advance.

Shiro should probably be checked out by a vet. The vet will be able to thoroughly palpate the belly, and may do x-rays or an ultrasound to see what it is you could be feeling. He could have issues with constipation, an enlarged organ, a partial intestinal obstruction, or something else. I hope Shiro is eating something more than roti! It is not a balanced food for dogs. He needs protein, fats, and vitamins that the roti will not provide for him. His diet should consist of 90% dog food and the remaining 10% can be filled up with treats, like roti.
