My dog has a hard lump on her ear after a tick bite. Is it normal?

My dog was bitten by a tick over two weeks ago, on the flappy part of her ear. We removed the tick, it was intact and alive. A few days later we noticed a lump. On the bite location. It's hard and firm and skin coloured. It's not red, puss filled or irritated. She is eating and drinking no problems with her other wise. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Female | spayed | 1 year and 4 months old | 83 lbs

The lump is likely a reaction to the bite and the anticoagulant injected by the tick. It can take a few weeks for the lump to go away. Just monitor it for infection/pus/pain. If those signs appear, have your veterinarian examine the lump.
