Puppy ate pork, now vomiting foamy liquid, won't eat. Is it serious?

My son fed our 6-7 month old pup a fried pork chop yesterday. Now this morning she’s vomited 4 times, all small amounts, of white or yellow foamy liquid. I also noticed she hasn’t touched her water or food. Is this normal? Could it be parvovirus? When I got her I was assured she’d had her shots.

This does not sound like parvoviris which generally presents with very smelly bloody diarrhoea. Feeding a dog a fatty meal such as a fried pork chop can cause a condition known as pancreatitis. The pancreas is overwhelmed by the fat and becomes very inflamed. This causes the dog to be in a great deal of pain, lethargic and often profuse vomiting. The pork chop could also upset the stomach. I would advise getting her to a vet asap as pancreatitis can be very serious but is usually treatanle with medications on an outpatient basis if caught early.
