Hi. My dog had contact with another dog a while back and had a stool movement with small white flatworms in it. My neighbor gave me piperizine dewormer. Will it work and is it safe to give to a dog with Ulcerative Colitis?

Duke likely has tapeworms, and that requires praziquantel to treat. Praziquantel is available by prescription only from the vet. Unfortunately, piperazine doesn't kill tapeworms, only roundworms. I'd make an appointment with Duke's vet, and they can prescribe the medication as needed. Best of luck, I hope this helps!
