What is the recovery period after a 6 month old puppy gets neutered? We have an event scheduled 2 days after the procedure ... is it safe to leave him unattended for a couple of hours that quickly after the operation?? Pet's info: Dog | Bichon Frise | Male | neutered | 5 months and 4 days old | 7.8 lbs

It will take up to two weeks for Guido to be fully healed, but it's fine to leave him for a couple of hours. Just make sure he's wearing his Ecollar to prevent him from licking his incision site, and keep him confined in a crate or small room to limit his movement. Enjoy your event!
