Why is my dog not eating, losing weight, and acting depressed?

My dog hasn’t been eating a lot. He looks depressed and he looks slimmer then he did before. He’s a chihuahua mix he’s 3 years old and I’m really worried for him. Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 3 years and 1 month old

Eating less than before and losing weight is concerning. This may be caused by a tooth problem, pain in the mouth or jaws, gastrointestinal disease, general pain and many other conditions. Unfortunately it is a very unspecific sign so I suggest you take your dog to your vet for an exam and some blood work to get to the bottom of this.
