Ragdoll cats won't bury poop in chip litter; it smells. What to do?

Question

2 rag doll cats 5 years old. Adopted them and the litter the ave us are chips. The don’t bury their poop and it really stink. Wind if we should go with fresh pet or similar. Pet's info: Cat | Ragdoll | Male | neutered

They may not like the feeling of the chips on their paws. I would try some clumping litter instead. SOme cats don;t like their poo and will try to get out of the box as fast as possible after doing their business....as they are so grossed out by it. So try the clumping litter and remove the poo regularly, every day., whether they bury it or not.
