Pet's info: Dog | Boston Terrier | Female | spayed | 11 years and 10 months old | 24 lbs
I recently rescued two kittens- they are sweet and fortunately healthy. I also have 2 almost 12 yr old Boston Terriers- I did a slow introduction over 2 weeks and everything seemed fine. However, now both Boston's are acting as though they can't be in the same room as the kittens - and are showing anxiety around them. What should I do?

Good on you for introducing them slowly! I would use a DAP diffuser. This releases pheromones that help with anxiety in dogs. You can pain this with a Sentry calming collar for the dogs. When in contact with their skin, it also releases pheromones. This may help with their anxiety around the kittens. If this method doesn't help, I would take them into the vet to discuss using anti-anxiety drugs. Best of luck, I hope this helps!
