Why is my dog suddenly avoiding my husband in the living room?

We have a 9 year old black Lab who adores my husband and the feeling is reciprocated. However about two months ago as soon as he sat down in the living room if she was in the same room she gave him a sideways look and left.. At first this was funny but now is a cause for concern. She is happy to stay in the room if just I am there and is still very happy to go for walks with him and for him to pat her etc. We have bought a "stress collar" to see if that would make a difference but it doesnt. Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Female | spayed | 8 years and 11 months old | 25 lbs

I would potentially have your husband bring a piece of kibble with him in the room so she can have a treat when he is there if this is a cause for concern. I would also recommend getting Holly checked out to make sure there is nothing going on with her especially if her behavior has changed.
