Puppy cut paw pad: Can I treat it myself or does she need a vet?

Question

While playing fetch my puppy cut her carpal pad. Is this something that I can care for myself or to you think she needs stitches? I don't see a place where I can upload a photo. I've washed it with soap and water and lightly wrapped it and put triple antibiotic cream on. Pet's info: Dog | Pomeranian | Female | unspayed | 10 months and 3 days old | 6 lbs

Ouch, poor Beemo! You were able to upload photos, and yes this does look like something that needs to be treated by a vet. The pad will need to be trimmed back, and she will need the paw bandaged. She will also need antibiotics. I would take her into a vet today. Best of luck, I hope this helps!
