My dog has a licking and biting problem. Should I be worried?

Pet's info: Dog | Yorkipoo | Male | neutered | 3 years and 2 months old | 13 lbs

My dog has a licking problem. He likes to like things including himself. He just to like himself he bites to. Should i be concerned? He do not have fleas or anything else wrong with him.

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Not necessarily. In reality, this is not unusual in dogs. I would be concerned though if he is causing himself any skin lesions or wounds from the licking which in that case it could be from allergies and should be addressed. Otherwise, he is likely going to be just fine. Good luck and have a great day!
