My dog has a licking and biting problem. Should I be worried?

My dog has a licking problem. He likes to like things including himself. He just to like himself he bites to. Should i be concerned? He do not have fleas or anything else wrong with him. Pet's info: Dog | Yorkipoo | Male | neutered | 3 years and 2 months old | 13 lbs

I would be concerned though if he is causing himself any skin lesions or wounds from the licking which in that case it could be from allergies and should be addressed.
