My puppy is in pain, lethargic, and struggling to poop. What should I do?

Pet's info: Dog | Alaskan Malamute | Female | unspayed | 2 months and 21 days old | 20 lbs

12 week old Alaskan malamute puppy. She has been yelling in pain sometimes when she is picked up or just sleeping. She is eating and drinking normally, but having a hard time pooping. Is walking cautiously and with her tail tucked beneath her. I have given her wormer and some mineral oil to make it easier for her to go potty if that’s the problem. Has been sleeping a ton or just laying and doesn’t want to move. I just want to check here first, before going to emergency vet.

If she is yelling in pain I highly recommend bringing her to a veterinarian so they can provide pain medication. Most over the counter medications are toxic to dogs. She needs a veterinarian to help diagnose her and treat her. Thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
