Why is my dog's poop reddish after spay, antibiotics, and Nexgard?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 4 months and 29 days old | 94 lbs

Hi...thanos is under antibiotic treatment cause he was spayed 3 days ago...he is taking amoxicillin twice a day...ive seen change in his feces color...sort of a reddish color but not bloody...he is active and eating well..i havent changed his diet...the only thing different since wednesday is the antibiotics and i gave him his monthly med prevention for heart worms which is the second time i give it to him but it is the first time that i gave him oral flea med nexguard...could this b the case???

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! This is not likely due to the medications as that is not a reported finding with their administration. It is hard to know without being able to look at the feces, but if this truly is not blood in the feces, the reddish tinge is most likely due to pigment in the food or something he ate causing that change.
