Why does my cat still have diarrhea and meows before pooping?

Question

1 and a half year old cat with diarrea has been to vet and is on medicine bowl movements getting a little better but not totally changed his diet also. He meows real loud sometimes and then poops runny stool? He was a stray we've had him for 3 months now. We've already spent around 250 dollars on him. Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 1 year and 6 months old | 9 lbs

I would recommend putting Baby on a bland diet. I/D which is a prescription bland diet is a good choice. I would then give a dewormer to Baby. If this was already done I would talk to your veterinarian about antibiotics and steroids. Baby may have irritable bowel disease which is leading to the diarrhea.
