My dog scratched her nose. Will a minor scratch heal on its own?

My dog scratched her nose while playing.....there was no bleeding or anything......so I cleaned it and applied a healing ointment I bought from my vet a while back.....do I have to take her to the vet or will the wound heal on it’s own? Pet's info: Dog | Golden Retriever | Female | unspayed | 8 months and 15 days old | 11 lbs

Hello! Nadi should be fine, you can also apply vitamin E oil to help her heal more quickly. Due to location, there isn't much your veterinarian will be able to do to close the wound, and it looks healthy and shallow. I hope that helps!
