I would just keep an eye on Buddy. Aloe vera ingestion can cause vomiting and diarrhea, but it is usually self-limiting, meaning it usually gets better without treatment. If he starts to have symptoms, offer him plenty of fluids (water, broth, pedialyte). Since he is so tiny, I would not recommend withholding food, but try for bland foods like chicken breast and cooked white rice. If the symptoms last long than 24 hours, he needs to be treated by a vet. Here is info on aloe vera ingestion: https://www.petpoisonhelpline.com/poison/aloe-vera/

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Clinical signs that can be observed with aloe vera ingestion include vomiting, diarrhea, depression, anorexia and in some cases tremors. There could also be vomiting secondary to a gastrointestinal obstruction. Because there is already vomiting present, I would recommend that you have her evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. They would be able to check for an obstruction and prescribe anti-nausea medications. In the meantime, feed Ellie a bland diet mostly composed of chicken breast and white rice. Good luck!
