Hi! Thanks for entrusting us with Sweetie's care today! Lameness can be a sign of a few things that range from a muscle sprain to even a fracture. I recommend that you have her evaluated by your veterinarian so that this can be further assessed which will likely include radiographs. Treatment will be dependent on findings though at the very least pain control medications can be prescribed. Good luck! Hoping for a speedy recovery!

    Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Cat is super cute! Possible causes are: strain or a sprain, an infection or wound, torn toe nail, or a fracture. If she puts any weight on it at all I doubt it is broken. I would try to rest her: prevent jumping, running, etc by crating her. If the limp doesn't resolve or significantly improve make an appointment to have a Vet feel the leg and possibly take an X-ray. I hope this helps and I wish Cat a speedy recovery!
