Why is my dog acting weird, tail down, and constantly moving?

My dog Dexter, his a miniature pinch, his around 8 years old know, he started acting weird lately always having his tail down in my room and moving around areas to lay down. is there something wrong with him? Pet's info: Dog | Miniature Pinscher | Male | unneutered | 6 years and 11 months old | 65 lbs
