My puppy has scabs & losing hair on neck/back after daycare. What is it?

What is this on my puppy? I’ve been taking him to day care and I just noticed he has these all over his neck and some on his back. He’s blowing his coat right now so I assumed he was losing fur because of that but these spots are losing hair around the area as well. More than I’m used to. It’s freaking me out. Pet's info: Dog | Shiba Inu | Male | unneutered | 8 months and 21 days old | 5 lbs

They look like little scabs and most likely have been caused by other puppies grabbing at him whilst playing. We commonly see them on young puppies necks and backs. However, if there are lots of them or they look infected it would be worth having them checked by your vet just in case he has an infection in the skin. It would also be worth ensuring he is up to date on flea treatment.
