My 10-year-old cat is hiding, not eating, and being aggressive. Why?

Pet's info: Cat | Maine Coon | Male | neutered

I would of like to know why my cat is being weird. He's about 10 years old. He is going places he usually doesn't go. He keeps going under the bed. And naturally he will hiss and try to scratch you if you come near him. He's being a complete angel. That's good but that's not the way he would regularly act. And he's not eating either. Please reply back. Thanks!

Hi there. Hiding and not eating are both common signs of illness in cats. These are very vague signs that could be caused by almost anything, so it's hard to say what might be wrong without being able to examine him and run some tests. It does sound like something is wrong, so I would recommend taking Skittles to the vet for an exam as soon as you are able to. He/she can do blood work or other testing if needed to help diagnose the problem and get him started on appropriate treatment.
