My dog can't walk after vomiting and diarrhea. What should I do?

Hi we took our Yorkie to the doctor yesterday for diarrhea/vomiting. Now can't barely walk

I'm so sorry to hear about Louie. I'm.very concerned about him as one of the dangers of vomit and diarrhoea is severe dehydration and then shock due to a lack of fluids. The body's electrolyte balance can also become very disturbed. The combination of this can lead to an incredibly weak animal that warrants immediate veterinary attention. I'm worried that Louie is very weak or is suffering a complication due to his illness. The only option in this scenario is to take him back to the vet for an examination and prepare yourselves that he will likely need to stay in for IV fluids and investigations.
