I would certainly return to your vet and have a thorough conversation about further investigations and options, or failing that seek a second opinion before considering euthanasia. There are many reasons for chronic diarrhoea in a kitten and most are very treatable. Likewise many cats have crystals in their urine. I am sure there will be a way forward without having to resort to putting Nutmeg to sleep .
