My puppy swallowed a flea egg will she get worms or will it jut pass through on its own. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Female | unspayed | 3 months and 30 days old | 5 lbs

Hello. Ingesting flea eggs is how most pets get tapeworms. I would just have Lucy dewormed with a product labeled to remove tapeworm & then you will have nothing to worry about. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
