Why is my Boxer dog running in circles and dragging his butt?

Pet's info: Dog | Boxer | Male | neutered | 5 years and 1 month old | 85 lbs

My boxer has been for the last 5 days running in circles or walking real fast like he's trying to get away from something or trying to get to something on his butt. I've looked him over and I don't see any fleas or anything else that would make him suddenly act like this. Thanks, Dee Dee

There are many possible reasons but anal gland issues, fleas or constipation would be most common. Your vet or vet tech can check the glands for you and advise on appropriate options depending on what they find
