My dog's eyes twitch, vomits, and kicks wildly. Is it a seizure?

My dog’s eyes are twitching uncontrollably and she vomited earlier. We have been holding her tightly and when we do not, she flips and kicks wildly. She can hear and possibly see us. We are using a towel to cool her off. This has happened once before and lasted for about 45 minutes. Do you know what is happening to her and how we can help? It could be that Birdie is having a seizure, but I can't say for certain what is going on with her without seeing her in person. I would say that it sounds like this is very abnormal, and I would take her into a vet immediately. Please take her into an ER vet clinic; if there isn't one in your area, there will be a vet on call for emergencies.
