Pet's info: Dog | Jack Russell Terrier | Male | 9 years and 4 months old | 23 lbs
Went away for 4days meanwhile my friend was checking on my 9 year old Jack Russell dog. I came back to down his back looking dark as i start to bath him i realized it was dry blood. As I started to brush him with a flea comb I saw tiny bugs coming out with his fur. I was wondering should I treat him for flea or is it something else.

Without seeing the bugs in person, I can't say if he does have fleas or not but it is possible. I will give you a flea treatment program for Milo. First, I would give him Capstar. It's a one time pill that starts killing fleas within 30 minutes. Then follow up with a spot on treatment, such as Advantage or Revolution. This is a treatment that has to be used once a month. You will also have to disinfect the environment. Wash his bedding in hot soapy water, and vacuum the furniture and carpet surfaces. You can use a spray to kill fleas in the house, such as Indorex, or a flea bomb would work well to kill the fleas in the home. I hope this helps!
