My new 12-week-old kitten has fleas and drinks a lot. Is it normal?

So 2 days ago we had a new 12 week old kitten and we brought a flea comb today as he seemed scratch altot he was covered in fleas so bathed him in warm water while combing him not even joking must have pulled like 100 off him were taking him vets tomorrow anyway but he's been drinks a lot more then a cat normally do could this be related. Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered

Having an excess of fleas and drinking a lot of water doesn't typically go together. It could be if it's hot where you are, Cookie is drinking extra water to try to cool down. I do think a visit to the vet is a good idea, and be sure to mention this excess drinking. I hope this helps!
