Why is my puppy coughing, sneezing, and producing a lot of mucus?

My puppy keeps coughing and sneezing and has a lot of mucus. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 7 months and 17 days old | 48 lbs

Hi there and thanks for posting on Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Coughing, sneezing, along with mucous sounds suspicious of a upper respiratory infection. I would recommend Bubba be seen by his veterinarian as soon as possible. Your veterinarian will do an exam and may recommend x-rays to better evaluate the infection and help determine the cause. Bubba may need to be placed on antibiotics or other medications as needed to help clear the infection. I hope this helps!
