Dog sick after flea treatment: hair loss, sores, lethargy. What to do?

Hello, my dog was presumed to have fleas so we treated him, however it has been a little more than a week and he is still in terrible shape. He is losing hair, covered in sores, and very lethargic. Should we be doing something else? Pet's info: Dog | Golden Retriever | Male | neutered

Poor Phineas! I would take him into the vet. It could be he's suffering from an allergic reaction to the fleas he had, leading to the sores. It could also be he has mange causing his problems. The only way to know for sure is to have him diagnosed by a vet so he can be treated. I would take him into one today. Best of luck!
