Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | spayed | 10 years and 2 months old | 80 lbs
Hi my dog has a few large masses on her body we took her to the vet about a year ago and he said they are fatty cysts but since then she has got a few more and one bad one on her head, it gets bloody sometimes & it’s very worrying to me, she’s a perfectly healthy happy dog though so I don’t know if we should be really worrried

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! These could be benign or malignant growths. Since these have remained present, it would be best to have them evaluated. There is no way of knowing what it is just based on its appearance. This is often differentiated by a test called a fine needle aspirate (FNA) which is a pain free, inexpensive and easy procedure which in most cases will help reach a diagnosis. Sometimes a biopsy is needed for a definitive diagnosis. I recommend that you have her evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. I am really hoping for something benign. Good luck and have a good day!
