Are my active 12-week-old shepherd mix puppies eating enough?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Female | unspayed | 2 months and 30 days old | 21.8 lbs

I have 2 shepherd mix puppies that are 12 weeks.I feed them 1/2 cup of purina puppy chow three times daily.one pup is 21.8lbs and the other is 19lbs.they are very active.Am I feeding them not enough?

Hello, I would to increase the amount fed to them. They are currently in the growing stage of their life and if very active, they are likely using majority of the energy you are feeding them at this age. You can try to at 1-2 more feedings per day for the next 3-4 months then decrease the feeding interval down to 3 times per day until they are about 1 year old. After this, depending on their intact status and how active they are, you can chose to decrease the frequency for add quantity as instructed in the directions from the food you are using.
