My 15-week-old puppy's ribs show. Why isn't he gaining weight?

I can't get my puppy to gain weight? He is 15 weeks old and eats 3x a day and his growth is on track but his ribs still show. Pet's info: Dog | Pit Bull Terrier | Male | unneutered | 3 months and 27 days old | 5 lbs

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! I would have his stool checked for intestinal parasites and be sure he has been dewormed a few times. You can increase the volume of food at each meal by 25%. And see if that improves his weight in 2 weeks. Be sure he is seeing a vet for vaccines. Good luck!
