After My bitch is AI with fresh Semen. Her legs are held up at an angel. For about 15 mins. Fluid runs out of her. What is going wrong? But even of fluid comes out. Can she still get pregnant? Pet's info: Dog | Bouvier des Flandres | Female | unspayed | 2 years and 2 months old | 60 lbs

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! I don't think anything is wrong per se. We sedate the females at my clinic for AI so we are sure that we are through the cervix and are doing it sterile. It could be normal that some fluid comes out. If it was a lot then I think you didn't get the straw through the cervix and I would worry that it won't take. Can you do the AI again with a Vet that does this routinely! I wish you the best!
