My vet is recommending trazadone for anxiety. I take trazadone myself but it was prescribed to help me sleep. Does this work different in dogs or is it just going to make her sleepy a lot?

Yes, Trazodone is an anti-anxiety medication used in dogs pretty regularly. There are also other anti-anxiety medications that can be used if Trazodone does not seem to help Precious's unique situation, so keep the lines of communication open. I hope that this works however. Best wishes and take care.
