My kitten has hypothermia, can't walk, won't eat. What should I do?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 3 months and 7 days old

My 13 week old kitten is breathing shallowly, can’t walk at all, and wont eat. A vet said he had hypothermia, as his temp is low, but he’s panting. Help. We don’t want him to die so young.

I certainly don't want Luca to die at such a young age either! Unfortunately without seeing him in person, there isn't much I can do for him. He should be with the vet now if he's this ill, receiving intensive veterinary care. That will be the best chance of survival for him. Please take him into a vet now if he isn't there already. I will be hoping he makes it through this!
