My indoor cat hasn't been in heat since getting out. Is she pregnant?

Hi.my 1 year old cat is indoor cat..she was going into heat quite often then she got out for 4 days and it's been 2 maths since her return and she hasn't been in heat yet ...she was an only kitten is there a chance she is carrying 1 too?

Hello, if Lacey got out and is no longer going into heat, it is very likely that she may be pregnant. Normal pregnancy in cats is about 65 days, give or take a few. In the later stages of pregnancy you will see her abdomen become enlarged and she may develop enlarged mammary glands as well. These signs would be highly consistent with being pregnant. Alternatively since it has been 2 months, she should be able to undergo an x-ray to see if there are any kittens that she could be carrying. This can be done by having her examined with your family veterinarian. Hope this helps and best of luck.
