My kitten has yellow eye discharge. How do I treat it and find a vet?

Pet's info: Cat | Bengal | Male | 10 days old

Our cat had kittens 10 days ago one of the kittens has a yellow discharge in one of his eyes. We wipe his eye out then it comes back later. What do we do? Please help? Also how do I find a Vet? Thier eyes jousted opened.

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! This is likely due to an infection. Keep in mind that some of these infections could be contagious if that is the case with him so it would be best to proceed as soon as possible with visit to a veterinarian and to try to keep him separate from the rest of the kittens until then. I highly recommend that you have him evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. Further therapy would be based on the findings. I would recommend you check in with a local veterinarian in your vicinity. Good luck and best wishes!

    Eye infections can be contagious, so I would keep Ivy separate from your new kitten. If the discharge is still happening in the morning and/or has gotten worse, take her into the vet for treatment. Best of luck.
